Easy Mexican Dessert Recipe





When you think of a easy Mexican dessert recipe, the dish that most often comes to mind is sopapillas. Unfortunately, for many people; this dish is not that easy to make, can be tricky.

Getting the dish to puff up correctly is the most difficult aspect for many people and if you don’t have the time or inclination to practice it, you might feel as though you need to forego a traditional dessert for your Mexican fiesta.

With the following easy Mexican dessert recipe; you won’t have to do so. This Mexican dessert recipe is so simple and quick that you’ll be able to whip it up in no time. In fact, the kids can even help out or use it to make a quick after school snack.

Ingredients:
I 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1 Tbs sugar
* butter
* small tortilla 8 inch

Special tip: If you combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a standard salt shaker, it’s much easier to apply and can be saved for future use.





Directions:
In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon together. Melt butter and brush on tortilla. Sprinkle sugar mixture over the buttered area and roll up tortilla.

As the tortilla is rolled, spread butter on the other side. Next, sprinkle with additional sugar and cinnamon. Place tortillas on a cookie sheet and cook in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for about 5 minutes. Should be golden brown and crispy.
