Tex Mex Recipes

Tex Mex recipes are often very different from traditional Mexican recipes.

That is not to say that they are any less delicious, but in some cases they can be substantially different.

While it is quite common to include spices native to Mexico in these recipes, more and more frequently you will find that ingredients that are not common to native Mexican cooking are also included.

San Antonio has long been regarded as the Tex Mex capital of the world and if you’re looking for world class Tex Mex food you won’t need to travel any further than the Riverwalk.

The restaurants lining this beautiful walkway specialize in Tex-Mex that have been perfected and handed down for generations.

Officially, Tex Mex date all the way back to the time when Texas ran their own flag up the pole and defended a little mission not too far from that famous river now inhabited by such delicious restaurants.

Some of the most common recipes include fajitas, nachos, chile con carne and crispy tacos.

Below we have provided one of these Tex Mex recipes for your cooking and dining pleasure. We hope you enjoy!
